You may request deletion of your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us at hq@sudosquad.club. Upon receipt of a verified request, your account is deactivated without undue delay: sign-in is disabled, active sessions are revoked, and your profile is removed from leaderboards, matchmaking, player search, and social listings. Any games in progress are closed and scored for the remaining participants.
Deactivated accounts are retained in a suspended state for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the deletion request (the "Grace Period"). During the Grace Period you may request reinstatement of your account, in which case your profile and data are restored in full. We retain data during the Grace Period to protect against accidental or unauthorized deletion requests and to satisfy our legitimate interest in fraud prevention.
Upon expiry of the Grace Period, or earlier upon your express request for immediate erasure, we permanently and irreversibly erase or anonymize your personal data. Specifically, we delete your email address, password credentials, display name, avatar, country designation, device push tokens, linked sign-in identities, notification history, and social connections (including follower relationships).
Gameplay records (such as match results, scores, and completion times) are retained in anonymized, pseudonymous form under a non-identifying placeholder (for example, "player_a1b2c3d4"). This retention is necessary for the integrity of historical match results and leaderboards of other players and is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests. Once anonymized, this data can no longer be linked to you and no longer constitutes personal data under applicable data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Where the GDPR applies, deletion requests are handled in accordance with Article 17 (right to erasure). Where the DPDP Act applies, requests are handled in accordance with its provisions on erasure of personal data. We may retain limited records where, and only for as long as, retention is required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten in the ordinary course of backup rotation.
We may deactivate accounts that violate our Terms of Service. Such accounts follow the same retention and anonymization schedule described above unless a longer retention period is required for legal or security purposes.
We do not use the app to track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not sell personal information to data brokers. If our data practices change in a way that requires App Tracking Transparency on Apple platforms, we will request permission where required before engaging in that activity.
Our services are not directed to children where use would require parental consent under applicable law. Where Indian law applies, additional requirements may apply to processing personal data of users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children where valid consent or authorization is required but has not been obtained.
Your information may be transferred and processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
